This is an upscale live-work project on an infill site in popular downtown Palo Alto. The site has been transformed from a parking lot to two units of needed housing, complete with onsite parking, for the downtown district. The ground floor includes a two-car garage for each home and separate home offices with half baths. The second and third floor residential units are conveniently served by a shared elevator accessed off of a communal vestibule. Each unit has an open plan with shared living room, kitchen, and dining spaces opening onto terraces. The second floor flat has a private fenced yard, and the top floor unit has personal access to an expansive roof terrace via a circular stairwell.
