HYA worked closely with the owners to complete a renovation of this uniquely blended 1898 Colonial Revival/Queen Anne/Craftsman style home. The architects consulted historic photographs and documents to replace the front façade elements and return the home to its former relationship with the street. The historic turret on the northwest corner, roof, and front porch gable were reinstated and windows on the south and east facades were replaced. Interior improvements included a new master suite, children’s bathroom, attic office, and two attached living units. This project received a Palo Alto Stanford Heritage 2018 Preservation Award.
