Originally developed in 1974, HYA reimagined what this 2-building concrete tilt-up campus in the Stanford Research Park could be with a more contemporary expression. Improvements include new building entrances, rainscreen wall cladding, standing seam metal roof, and sustainable landscape all while maintaining the mature urban forest surrounding the buildings. The rainscreen materials, wood composite cladding and metal wall panels, were selected to bring beauty, durability, and sustainability to the facades. The resulting transformation is stunning as the buildings and trees harmoniously work together.
