In reimagining a 1940’s warehouse into flexible Class A office space, a conscious effort was made to retain as much of the existing structure as feasible and to minimize new finishes within the building. The existing bent-frame structure, counterpane windows, roof, and concrete slab on grade were preserved, and are exposed and celebrated wherever possible. Neutral interior tones are complemented by the warmth of the wood slat ceiling, pops of color from the furnishings, and large scale graphics on inspiration walls. Fresh colors and forms bring life and vitality to both the building and neighborhood.
